Is it possible to move the owner role to another user of the group?
I am asking b/c only the owner is allowed to invite new users.

The user who has created a group automatically is the group owner. Only s/he and any administrators linked to the group, have the possibility to administer this particular group.
In SOUL 2.5 we have introduced sharing the ownership:
After inviting further users it is possible to give them the ownership right, too. So other users with role “user” can also invite new group members or administer the group.
You can find this + further information within the “Help”-Section in SOUL.
