Kaspersky virus scan currently is blocking an important file, which is part of our Sync App on Windows.
We can assure, this is not a trojan but a false alarm, a so called “false positive”. We found this discussion regarding this topic: https://forum.syncthing.net/t/kaspersky-treats-syncthing-as-virus-false-positive/7659
However we’ve doublechecked this and checked the specific file with a high amount of scan engines: Only Kaspersky is throwing the trojan alarm.
If you’d like to move on syncing while Kaspersky hasn’t fixed this, you might need to exclude the file from former virus scans.
